After months and months of dressing in dark colors to match the winter doldrums, brightening up your wardrobe with a few key pieces in bright white is exactly what the doctor ordered. At the opposite end of the wild spectrum than Not-So-Subtle Neon, white will have you feeling fresh, calm, and serene.

Gucci’s spring 2011 collection featured an all-white suit ensemble: a white jacket over a pair of white pants. Only brown buttons and shoes broke the monochromatic look. To keep the same all-white effect but with a more casual vibe, opt for agnès b.’s shorts suit; a white blazer and knee-length shorts over a light blue button-front and dark blue tie. Hermès’ spring 2011 collection showed the epitome of cool: white button-front with rolled up sleeves, loose and lightweight white pants, and a double strap brown belt. Could it look any more like spring?

Of course, not all men are up for a head-to-toe white ensemble. Luckily, even just a bit of white will help you stand out from the crowd and show your enthusiasm for the warmer and longer days ahead. agnès b. showed one of her models in a pair of classic white jeans with a black tie and sleeveless button-front shirt. Depending on your style, you can take or leave the printed pink, white, and black jacket paired with it. Hermès’ white blazer is the perfect addition to any ensemble; the fashion house paired it with a pair of simple grey pants and white boat shoes. Of course, if you’re looking for utter simplicity, it can’t get much easier than Louis Vuitton’s white button-front shirt. Wear it with a jeans, a pair of patterned shorts, or like the model during the house’s 2011 spring fashion show, under a jacket with a pair of lightweight green pants.

My wife bought me a pair of white slacks last year and I put off wearing them for the longest time, but when I finally did I think it really looked good- some of the styles they came out with this year are great!

I love this idea, they say that black is more slimming but I have a fairly large husband and when he wears black it is NOT slimming, however, white is a great color on him, I love the white jacket idea!

White would always be in. I like guys who can pull off a simple vneck shirt, jeans and snickers.

I always wear white because it looks neater and you can't go wrong with it. I usually pair it with a nice blazer and jeans.
